RecoverNet Critical Illness insurance puts cash in your hands when you need it most. When you are diagnosed with any of the life-threatening illnesses listed below, cash is sent directly to you. Use the money as you choose. Pay crisis-related bills, medical insurance co-pays, the mortgage, loans, extra child care costs, or take time off from work.

CRITICAL ILLNESS (Central States of Omaha)

1. Serious Illness
RecoverNet health insurance pays cash, after the specified policy waiting period*, directly to you if you or a covered family member is diagnosed with one of the serious illness listed below:

  • Heart Attack
  • Stroke
  • Heart Transplant
  • Heart-Lung Transplant
  • Lung Transplant
  • Liver Transplant
  • Kidney Transplant
  • Pancreas Transplant
  • Paraplegia or Quadriplegia
  • End-Stage Renal Failure
  • Pays 25 percent benefit for first coronary bypass surgery once for each insured person

    2. Cancer
    If you or a covered family member is diagnosed with cancer after the specified policy waiting period*, CSO pays cash directly to you for the benefit amount chosen. (25 percent benefit for first carcinoma in situ up to $5,000 maximum payable once for each insured person.)

    3. Catastrophic Illness and Accident
    As soon as covered medical bills for any condition or combination of covered medical problems not specifically listed above, exceed $100,000 within a consecutive 12-month period, you receive the cash benefit amount selected. Medical problems may include conditions like complications from surgery, auto accidents or accidental poisonings. The following medical conditions are excluded: heart attack, stroke, paraplegic or quadriplegic condition, heart transplant, lung transplant, heart-lung transplant, liver transplant, pancreas transplant, kidney transplant, end-stage regal failure, first coronary artery bypass, cancer or carcinoma in situ. Expenses incurred during the waiting period will not count toward the total accumulation*.

    * Waiting period not applicable in some states.
